How to Get and Use Tree Tappers: Stardew Valley

There are many different resources farmers can gether and use in Stardew Valley. One can till the land and grow vegetables, gather fruit from trees and milk from cows. Did you know that you can not only can you get wood from trees, you can use a tapper to get other resources as well?

This guide will be centered around getting and using tappers for trees. It will show you how to craft your own tapper in Stardew Valley, and how to use the Tapper on a tree to get new resources!

How to Craft a Tapper in Stardew Valley

Once the player has reached foraging level 3 in Stardew Valley, they will unlock the recipe for the Tapper. After this point you can make as many as you wish. The tapper is crafted just like other equipment in the crafting menu.

To craft one tapper, you will need 40 units of wood and 2 copper bars. Once you have these, you are able to get started tapping into some trees! Simply open the crafting menu and select the tapper to craft it.

Using the Tapper in Stardew Valley

Now that you have your own tapper, place it in your inventory so you can use it! Using a tapper ona tree is fairly straightforward. Simply hold it in your hands and walk up to a tree and right-click the tree to attach the tapper.

• On the PS4 version of the game, use the X button to attach the tapper to the tree
• Xbox One users can use the A button to attach a tapper to an appropriate tree
• On the Nintendo Swtich hold the tapper in your hands and use the A button to attach it to a tree

Now that you have a tapper attached to a tree in, all you have to do is wait. Tappers will automatically harvest goods from trees. You will get a different resource depending on which type pf tree it’s attached to.
