Like many other farming sims, Kynseed allows the player to raise animals. The main reason for doing this is the commodities they provide. Chickens will produce eggs and cows, milk. This guide will show you how to get milk from a cow in Kynseed.
How to Get Milk From Cows in Kynseed
This is a fairly straightforward process. In fact at the start of the game, getting milk is a part of the starting quests. Firstly, you can collect milk using two different items, a glass jar, or a metal bucket crafted or purchased from a blacksmith.
With either a glass jar or metal bucket in hand, approach the cow you wish to get milk from. You are given a cow at the start of the game for free with the farm. With your tool in hand walk to the cow and hold down the right mouse button to milk it. Once you are finished you will either have a bucket or glass jar filled with milk.
You can also tip the milk out of it’s container by equipping it and holding down the right-mouse button. This will cause your character to waste it by tipping it on the ground.
If you choose to gift the milk to one of the other NPCs, the container will be kept in the inventory. (With the milk no longer inside, obviously.)
What is Milk Used for?
Now that you have some milk in hand, what good is it? There are many different uses for milk in the game. You can do the following:
– Gift the milk: By interacting with villagers you can give them any item from your inventory. Milk can also be gifted, one great part is, the bucket of milk can be gifted repeatedly to multiple NPCs, as if they were holding their hands out and you were just pouring them a handful of milk.
– Sell Milk: You can sell the milk that you’ve collected from the cows of the region by using the market stalls in the festival areas, or by purchasing a shop and selling them there.
– Cooking: Milk is an ingredient in a few different recipes in Kynseed. If you plan on becoming a master chef and completing all the recipes, it’s a good idea to keep milk stocked up at your food storage at home.
