This page will show you how you can get Tungsten Ore and thus, Tungsten in Necesse. Tungsten Ore is very useful for crafting in the mid-game of Necesse. You won’t be able to find this resource right from the start, but it can be found in the Deep Caves.

How to Get Tungsten Ore in Necesse
As aforementioned you can get tungsten ore from the deep caves. These are accessed after you have defeated Pirate Captain and beren rewarded with a Deep Ladder Down. Make sure you don’t misplace this ladder you get as a reward. This is because you will be able to craft new Deep Ladder Down’s, but you will need Tungsten from the Deep Caves to do so. You will also need a Demonic Pickaxe in order to mine Tungsten Ore.
Place down your deep ladder down so you can enter it and thus enter the Deep Caves. Once you are in the deep caves check the rocks until you come across some Tungsten ore. Tungsten ore is similar looking to gold in the rocks, however, Tungsten Ore has a blue color. You can see an image of some tungsten ore still waiting to be mined below.
You will need to bring a lot of torches with you in the deep caves as it is quite dark. Given the dark color of the tungsten ore in the rocks, it can be missed very easily if you don’t have much visibility.
How to Get Tungsten Bars
Now that you have some ore you are ready to start making some Tungsten Bars! These are just ores smelted down into usable ingots. You can melt that tungsten ore into bars at the forge. Just like the other metals, simply put the tungsten ore in the main part of the forge and add some wood as fuel on the left-hand side.
You will need 4 pieces of tungsten ore to make one tungsten bar. Keep that in mind when you are down in the deep caves mining for more ore. If you manage to fully mine out the deep cave below an area, you can move to another map and use a deep ladder down there to access even more tungsten ore.
