How to Speed Up Pokemon Infinite Fusion (Turbo)

One of the best features of replaying Pokemon games through an emulator is the ability to speed up time. Without being able to speed up the game training Pokemon can take a long long time. Luckily in Pokemon Infinite Fusion you have the ability to speed up the game to make the grind less slow.

This guide will show you how to speed up the game in Pokemon Infinite Fusion. This can be very helpful, especially when looking for the HM Surf.

How to Speed Up Pokemon Infinite Fusion on PC

The default key binding for speeding up the game on PC is the Q key. If this doesn’t work it is possible that the default key bindings have been changed at some point. In this case, you will have to open up the key bindings menu and check which key is assigned to this feature. You can also change the key for turbo mode if you don’t want to use Q.

To open the key bindings menu, you will have to press the F1 key. This can be done at the main menu or even at any point during the game. Here, there are two sets of key bindings, one for the keyboard and mouse, and one for using a controller. Select the control to bind a new key.

The fast forward function is a toggle button. There are three different speeds that you can toggle through. These could be called normal, faster, fastest for example. You can continue to press the fast-forward key to toggle through these speed settings.

How to Fast-Forward Using a Controller

Pokemon Infinite Fusion uses X-Input for the game’s controls when using a controller. This essentially means the Xbox button layout. The button on a controller that cycles through fast-forward in Pokemon Infinite Fusion is the LB button. This is also known as the Left Bumper.

Having only personally used an Xbox and a Stadia controller to play the game, I am not sure if the game natively supports DS4 (PlayStation) controllers, but if so then R1 could probably be used at Fast-Forward.

Like the PC control bindings, the bindings for controllers can be changed as well. Simply open up the key bindings with F1 on a keyboard, select the box with the LB text inside it, and press a new button on your controller to bind fast-forward to that button.

The third way to make the game a little faster is to speed up the text speed. This is a staple that is featured in the mainline Pokemon games as well. The Text Speed can be changed from the in-game options menu. There are two settings, Normal or Fast. Simply move down to this option and move left or right to pick an option.
